The two Rotary Clubs of Karlshamn, Sweden, arrange a Rotary International Youth Sailing Camp every other year. August 2 - 12 this year, the camp celebrated a 10-year jubilee. 16 young participants from 12 different countries took part. The camp was a success (again ) as can be seen from the evaluation available at the website. One of the specialties of this camp, besides the 6o6 keel boat training and racing, is that there is a special website that is updated daily. Parents and friends back home can follow the activities almost on-line! The event also got a good coverage from local media this year: From press, radio and TV. The camp motto of "piece and understanding" came well through.

There are two plain sailing pics and one not so plain from a spontaneous crew shift "oh jesus". The fourth is from a Rotary meeting where the young sailors were the program of the day, introducing themselves and performing a little dramatized singing act.
