- The puppies grow: Our 'girls' demand more attention than our two legged kids. At times they also make us just as angry, but we love them anyway.
- Soleil: Shadow needed someone to play at 5:00 am (I did not know such a time existed), so we got her a sister. What better to go with Shadow that Soleil (French for Sun)
- Shadow: Life was too easy, so we needed a little one to complicated it. Since she was always right at my heels, Shadow seemed a good name.
